Things you don’t know about me… Lacey Green:
1. What words describe your journey to becoming a super trainer? the purpose.
2. If you weren’t a super trainer, what would you do in your life? He holds his own talk and game shows in an Oprah atmosphere that helps women around the world find their strength.
3. The three qualities that have won you where you are today: Positive. Kind. humor.
4. What do you think is the best thing that people hope to learn from you and continue to learn from you? Just as they work towards who they are, fitness is for every body and every body, so love yourself where they are.
Just be brave enough to go for it. What if it gets better than they imagined?
5. How did your signature “woot woot” start? I always believed that everything in life is energy!
And “woot woot” became my catchphrase, letting people know that I saw their energy and I came back to them quickly.
My mother always told me that if someone gave you Tupperware with something in it, you’re always returning it full of things you can return. Do not return it to the sky.
We all have “woot woot” inside us to share with the world!
6. What has moved you recently? I see one of the women I encountered with the body stepping into her strength.
Claudia (who currently has no seizures for 3 years!) has removed her 5 inch brain, lost 90 pounds this year, showing up to everyone in my body with the greatest smile and all love, celebrating and encouraging everyone around her.
She is the epitome of #healthesteem.
7. How about being a mother? There’s this boy who has my heart – and he calls me “mama.”
Being a mom is like wearing your mind outside your body for the rest of your life. Every year is a new journey and it passes very quickly. There are no books on parenting.
There are days when you’re totally nailing it, and there are days when you wonder if you said the right thing or maybe you could have done more. Lots of laundry and cooking!
You remember the day you ran on a swing on the playground, and suddenly you watch them bump into the end zone of their high school football championship.
Being a mom will make you brave and fearless than you think.
And no matter how many goals I have achieved, no matter what dreams I have achieved, my biggest achievement is always Kane’s mother and I feel so blessed to have a front row seat in his life.
When people ask me what my son wants to do in his life and what I want to be him, my only answer is “happiness.”
8. What is the background of your mobile phone? Photographs of him and me at a soccer match.
9. What are you most proud of and why? I’m always proud to be Kane’s mom.
But no matter how tough it has become when it comes to my life and personal achievements, how challenging it has felt, or how many times I have retreated or knocked down, I never change the difficulties of life or my purpose.
I always kept believing in myself. Burning fat from #MBF Muscle Modifier to Beach Body Super Trainer is pretty proud of me!
But it makes me even more proud, mainly if someone there takes a bit of breath because I or someone took a brave step towards their dreams for my story.
10. What are your thoughts on a perfect day? My son, family and all my mother’s homemade dishes and pool or beach day with my son, family and friends along with her signature Dutch apple pie.
And definitely play some sort of goofy game I’ve made like Water Balloon Tags and Freeze Dance. Creating memories, and in that moment it’s completely and of course a really good playlist.
11. Who is your biggest role model? my mom.
12. Who is your favorite dinner companion? My Chocolate Lab Booker will be forever. He is now experiencing all the treats in dog heaven.
13. What is the most important quality of your friend? Unconditional love.
14. What makes you laugh? I’m looking at Ace Ventura.
15. What is the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done? Raising a teenager!
Maybe you’ll climb to the top of the crazy High Mountain and jepling over Costa Rica’s waterfalls.
But honestly, my most adventurous “things” follow this dream of mine.
I didn’t need anyone else to understand it or give it permission. I knew in my mind that it was what I was supposed to do.
16. The best advice you’ve ever received? I live in: “People forget what you said. People forget what you did. But people never forget how you made them feel.”
17. What advice would you give to people who are threatened with exercise?
First, you will know what is stopping them. Then I tell them to focus on who they want to be.
And then, to do what a person does, I remember that a 1,000-mile journey began in one step.
18. NSYNC or Backstreet boy? nsync! Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, boy on Backstreet.
19. What do people never guess just by looking at you? I’m afraid of the darkness. And never watch scary movies. Just like before.
20. What’s most exciting about your program just for beginners?
all! I have dreamed of running my own beach body program for years.
For the first time, we are offering people around the world a place to start, whether they have never made it in their life or want to make choices to be healthier and stronger.
Only beginners have a successful program where all bodies and Everybodi are welcome and included from the first training.
I love that every exercise we choose and every positive affirmation we choose to help each person focus on their respect for their health.
I imagine moms and daughters, fathers and sons, families, active actors, especially fitness, felt that they weren’t for them, or that they were threatened by the gym and exercise and threatened this program together.
My goal is for each individual to feel confident in knowing that fitness is in all shapes, ages, sizes, figures, races and where they are supposed to be.
