In a board game suitable for all ages, players race from start to finish, answering menopause questions along menopause. Using uterine tokens, players move across the game board in turn. This is similar to changes in estrogen levels during menopause. The question card quizzes players on many different symptoms and has answers and explanations to help people learn as they play.

Intimina’s study also showed that the number of symptoms associated with menopause is highly underestimated. On average, respondents said they had 11 symptoms of menopause, but the reality is that there are over 40. I was worried and didn’t know that more than one in every 10 men who voted for had symptoms of menopause.

Dr. Susanna Unsworth, gynecological expert at Intimina, adds: “It is clear that there are many misconceptions about menopause and its symptoms in both men and women.
